It started with a dream

Learn how the first women came together in 1996 to support other women in times of crisis and need.

“The Fresh Start scholarship has been one of the first times I have felt as though I was with a group of people where I fit in. Everyone has a similar background, similar struggles, and similar dreams and drive to achieve them. This program truly gave me one of my first signs of hope that I can actually go to school, and that it is possible to graduate. Thank you for this opportunity. My desire is to continue my relationship with Fresh Start in some way to further support other women who simply need someone to believe in them."
